Welcome to The Anchored Life: Building Homes and Hearts Anchored in Him

There’s something so special about the quiet moments at home—the smell of coffee brewing in the morning, the sound of kids’ laughter, the soft glow of candles as the day winds down. But somewhere in the busyness of life, it’s easy to feel unsteady. Our days get noisy, our spaces get cluttered, and our hearts long for peace again.

That’s what led me to create The Anchored Life.

This little corner of the internet was born from a simple desire: to help women create havens of peace that invite God’s presence into every corner of their homes and hearts.

Because I’ve learned that an anchored life begins where His presence dwells.

For years, I’ve carried a deep longing to blend faith and homemaking, to create spaces that don’t just look beautiful, but feel peaceful. The kind of peace that runs deeper than fresh flowers or clean counters (though those are lovely too!).

It’s the peace that comes from knowing that, no matter what storms come, your heart, and your home, are anchored in Him.

I’ve walked through seasons that felt uncertain, overwhelming, and even painful. But each time, God gently reminded me that I don’t need to have it all together; I just need to stay anchored to Him.

And that’s the heartbeat of this blog.
